Crafting Unique Scents

Merhab Gardens
Merhab is one of the two Hebrew words used to describe a spacious place, wide-open spaces, and a place to grow. After several years of learning to live with a disability and feeling trapped, I longed for the freedom of living in those spacious places I once enjoyed. I began pouring candles as a momentary escape and a way to relax.
Over the past several months and years, I have come to realize that those spacious places are not the open pastures that smell of fresh grass or the mountain top breath of clean air. The spacious places are often not based on our physical locations, abilities, or circumstances. They are found in the quiet moments where we find joy in the middle of life.
Aromatherapy and candle pouring are two things that I have come to enjoy and appreciate. Creating new scents makes me realize the joy God takes in creating. I hope to share this with you through my hand poured aromatherapy candles.
